Focus

First Alaskan Capital Partners, LLC is a unique investment firm which combines the experience of its principals and the financial strength of its investment partners to pursue investments in private companies.

While we will consider investments in a variety of industries, our focus is on telecommunications, energy, financial services, and companies for which real estate comprises a substantial part of the underlying value.

We bring national level experience to investments across the country, and deep local knowledge and reach to investments within Alaska.

Principals & Investment Partners

Each of our principals has more than 25 years of experience in investments with substantial equity and sophisticated financial structures. Collectively we have led transactions totaling well in excess of $3 billion.

Our investment partners include the most successful Alaska Native corporations. These companies, formed pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, are owned by Eskimo, Indian, and Aleut people of Alaska. Our partnerships have included Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, Bering Straits Native Corporation, Bethel Native Corporation, Bristol Bay Native Corporation, Calista Corporation, Chugach Alaska Corporation, Cook Inlet Region, Inc., Old Harbor Native Corporation, and the Tatitlek Corporation.

Investments

We will invest for control of a company as well as for non-controlling positions, depending upon what is best for the underlying company. We have built our reputations on being good partners and have a verifiable record of acting in a manner that is ethical, forthright, and in the best interest of the underlying business. We prefer moderate leverage and will not seek to over-leverage the companies in which we invest. We have no predetermined exit dates for our investments and can invest for the long term.
